Are you open to a miracle?

“And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” Matthew 13:58

Jesus was unable to work in the area where people were most familiar with him.

The ones who should’ve been first to seek him when they were in need of a miracle, instead, saw him move the least.

In the verses proceeding verse 58, they recognized that he was working miracles, and many mighty works. But they were so familiar with him, that they didn’t ask for a miracle themselves. Their unbelief hindered him from moving. They closed the door on miracles because of familiarity.

So, I ask again, are you open to a miracle?

You, who know he is able but wonder if he will.

You, who has seen him move but are too familiar with his hand.

You, who knows the God of miracles is still on the throne, but you doubt you’ll see miracles in your own life.

You, who should believe and ask for the biggest things from his able hands, but you’re so familiar that you take for granted who you have access to.

You, who are broken, but won’t seek the Physician.

Are you closing the Lord out because of familiarity, as his own people did?

Jesus is wanting to give you a MIRACULOUS life.

But you are in his way.

Are you open to a miracle?

He’s waiting on you.
