Come all ye unfaithful.

Come broken, come bitter, come fearful, come guilty, come grieving.

Christ is born for you.

Tidings of great joy, to the joyless.

To the weeping.

To the lonely.

Great joy to ALL people.

Every tribe and nation.

Every color, every race.

Every tongue and language.

Come all ye unfaithful.

Come to the manger and see the One born for you. Wrapped in swaddling clothes is the One who is faithful. The guiltless. The whole. The fearless. The sweet balm of healing.

Trade your burdens.

You don’t have to stay unfaithful.

You don’t have to stay broken.

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices.

You can be weary, and the thrill of hope still enter your soul. Feelings may say there is no joy for you this day, but feelings aren’t facts. Feelings don’t change the truth.

He came for broken ones like you. What a sweeter way to celebrate his coming, than to let him do what he came to do all along?

Come all ye unfaithful.

You can be joyful and triumphant.

Because the Savior is born.

All for you.

Matthew 1:21

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

Jesus wins

I’ve heard it my whole life. Jesus always wins. It’s stitched into memory like an old Sunday school banner. Echoed in sermons. Sung in songs. But today? Today I don’t feel like I’m on the winning side

I can see him

I used to believe that walking with God meant having some sort of map, if not the full route, at least the next step, the next door, the next green light. But now? I am standing in the fog. Everything
