God’s not on a budget

Ask Him for more.

He’s not on a budget.

Why do you come to the King of Glory with trembling hands and hesitant prayers, as though His storehouses run dry?

Why do you ration your requests, whisper small petitions, or tiptoe around His throne

as if you might bankrupt heaven by asking too much?

Beloved, He is not frugal with His mercy.

He does not clutch His blessings tight against His chest, nor count coins of compassion with reluctant hands. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills—the galaxies spin at His pleasure, and oceans stop at His command.

There is no ledger in heaven where your needs are weighed against divine deficits.

So ask Him for more.

More wisdom for your wilderness.

More peace that outruns panic.

More joy that startles sorrow.

More fire in your bones, more tears that turn to rivers of revival. Ask Him for more love to give the loveless, more forgiveness than your flesh can fathom, more courage to face the giants that mock you in the valley.

Dare to pray prayers that shatter ceilings and shake the ground beneath your feet.

Dare to trust Him with dreams so audacious that only eternity could hold them.

Dare to believe He delights to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ask or imagine.

He is El Shaddai—God Almighty, All-Sufficient.

His grace is not meted out in teaspoons.

His power is not portioned for the privileged few.

He lavishes. He overflows. He pours until cups run over and tables are spread in the presence of your enemies.

Stop measuring His might by your limitations.

Stop minimizing your longings to fit inside the box of your past disappointments.

He does not fear your needs; He formed them to draw you nearer.

So come boldly.

Storm the gates of heaven with a faith that refuses to settle for scraps.

You are a child of the King—

and He is not on a budget.

He doesn’t underdeliver

There has not been a chapter of my life—no valley too low, no mountaintop too high—that hasn’t whispered this truth back to me: God is exactly as good as the Bible says He is. Not just on the days whe

Jesus wins

I’ve heard it my whole life. Jesus always wins. It’s stitched into memory like an old Sunday school banner. Echoed in sermons. Sung in songs. But today? Today I don’t feel like I’m on the winning side

I can see him

I used to believe that walking with God meant having some sort of map, if not the full route, at least the next step, the next door, the next green light. But now? I am standing in the fog. Everything
