He can’t sin against you either

God is holy, utterly pure—He cannot sin.

And if He cannot sin, He cannot sin against you.

This makes Him the most faithful, the most true, the most trustworthy One who ever was.

He does not fail.

He cannot fall short.

He cannot betray you.

And though we know this deep within, the whispers of doubt still press.

Yet He cannot, He will not, and He would not let you go.

Even in the weight of what you carry, He is steadfast.

Even in your heartache, He is pure and unchanging.

He cannot wrong you; He will not leave you.

Our Holy Savior, the Righteous Judge of all the earth, Shall—He shall—do right.
