God never lets pain go to waste.
He comforts deeply, and then He equips you to comfort others—just as He has comforted you.
Your struggles are not just about you; they are part of a greater purpose,
for He always has someone else in mind.
He sees the woman ahead, who will need strength when she loses her baby.
He sees the child who will feel lost when their parents part ways.
He sees the spouse who will ache when trust is broken and love betrayed.
He sees the young woman wondering if her life has meaning because she’s not married by 21.
He sees the girl who will be left behind, heart aching, waiting to learn that God can send a friend who is true and sure,
He sees the couple who will cling to each other in the doctor’s office, as the word “impossible” hangs heavy in the air.
He sees the young soul who will tremble when faced with a diagnosis that seems to unravel everything.
And He’s calling you, preparing you—
for them.
Think of how God has held you, all the ways He has whispered comfort into your brokenness.
Recall the scriptures that became lifelines.
The songs that wrapped you in peace.
The promises that kept your heart from shattering completely.
Perhaps, it has all been for this:
to help someone else see that there is hope,
to help someone else make it through the night,
to help someone else find the courage to keep going, to remind someone else they are never, ever alone.
If God can redeem even this—
then every tear, every heartbreak, becomes worth it.
So go and comfort,
as He has so tenderly comforted you.
