It’s okay if you’ve cried a river today, or a mighty sea. The One who loves you and intercedes for you, walks on water.

He has walked across a much more stormy sea than this, and still heard the cry, “Lord, save me!”

The waves of your brokenness do not intimidate one who rules wind and water. He will walk on the water to be nigh to your broken heart.

He is not afraid, even if you’re sinking, he will pull you out. Because he always hears the cry of his child, over the noise and chaos, he always hears.

You may wonder why he has not healed while you have wept such a great ocean, but maybe, he just wanted to show you that he is greater and coming walking on the water to you.

Maybe he just wanted to show you that he is not intimidated by brokenness.

Maybe he just wanted to get closest to you through the thing that you thought would take you under.

He can walk across what may seem destructive, and come right to you.

He is nigh!

These waves are not greater than the one who rules them!

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
