If you don’t, who will?

Mark 5:22-23

“And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”

Jairus took the intercession on behalf of his household very seriously.

He saw the need, and ran straight to Jesus.

He knew Jesus was able to heal what was broken in his home.

He didn’t wait on someone else to run get Jesus, he didn’t send someone in his stead. He went to Jesus himself.

How seriously do you take the intercession of your household? Your husband? Your children?

Or are you waiting on someone else to get to Jesus for them?

You are responsible.

You are accountable.

Who will get them to Jesus if you don’t?

Who will pray for your husband when he is weary from this journey, when this world has drained him as he goes out to provide for your family every day? As he bears the load of protector?

Who will get your children to Jesus?

When this world seeks to draw them away from the Lord? When the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy? When the government wants to harden their hearts and indoctrinate? When they’re told they have so much to “recover” from?

If you don’t, who will?

Stop waiting for someone to go in your stead.

This is your home.

This is your husband.

These are your children.

Take getting them to Jesus seriously.

He is able.🤍
