New year

It’s okay if your list of goals is blank.

It’s okay if the year ahead feels heavy instead of new.

It’s okay if you don’t have a single “word for the year.”

Just keep moving forward.

The clock will turn, the calendar will shift,

but the heart of God will remain steady—unchanging, unwavering.

He isn’t waiting for your plans to unfold,

or for you to craft the perfect vision of what’s to come.

He’s waiting for you.

Waiting to wrap you in the safety of His arms.

Waiting to quiet your soul with His whispers of peace.

Waiting to carry you when you can’t take another step.

His power doesn’t hinge on your resolutions.

His love isn’t swayed by your success or struggle.

His faithfulness stands firm—just as it always has.

Time may march on, but its Creator is timeless.

He still beckons, softly, “Come to Me, all you who are weary, all who carry burdens too great to bear. I will give you rest.”

So if you feel uncertain, exhausted, or unprepared for what lies ahead,

know this: the new year may call for fresh beginnings,

but the God who holds it all will never change.

Keep moving forward, friend.

With every step, you are held.

New year, same God. Always faithful. Always near.

Jesus wins

I’ve heard it my whole life. Jesus always wins. It’s stitched into memory like an old Sunday school banner. Echoed in sermons. Sung in songs. But today? Today I don’t feel like I’m on the winning side

I can see him

I used to believe that walking with God meant having some sort of map, if not the full route, at least the next step, the next door, the next green light. But now? I am standing in the fog. Everything
