Your pearls have value

You might be tired because you keep bleeding beauty into hands that only know how to break it.

You keep offering pearls, but they’re trampled in the mud by feet too calloused to recognize worth.

You’re not crazy. You’re not too sensitive.

You’re sacred.

And the sacred should be treasured—not tolerated, not twisted, not tossed aside.

Jesus said it clearly:

“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs,

neither cast ye your pearls before swine…” (Matthew 7:6)

And still—your heart whispers,

“But maybe if I just love a little harder…”

“Maybe if I explain it better…”

“Maybe if I just stay a little longer…”

But, pearls weren’t made for the pigpen.

And holy things weren’t made for mockery.

You are not wrong for loving deeply.

You are not wrong for wanting to see the best in people.

But you are wrong if you believe that your sacredness must be sacrificed in order to be accepted.

Some things are too holy to be handled carelessly.

Some parts of you were never meant to be everyone’s access point.

Some gifts were only meant to be poured out at His feet? not consumed by critics.

Not diminished by doubters.

Not discarded by those who were never meant to carry them.

Mary knew this.

She broke her alabaster box for One.

She poured her treasure, her worship, her everything on feet that would soon be nailed for her.

And though others criticized—He called it beautiful.

It is not your job to convince swine to value pearls.

It is not your assignment to force someone to see what they refuse to honor.

But it is your calling to guard what is holy.

To weep at His feet instead of wasting your worth in empty rooms.

To know that the sacredness in you is not weakness—it is weight. Glory weight.

You are not too much.

You are not wrong for feeling deeply.

You are not weak because you’re tired.

You’re just sacred.

And sacred things must be protected.
