John 14:26

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

One day, when we step into eternity and stand among the heroes of our Bible , we may find ourselves face to face with Moses. With awe in our voices, we might ask him what it was like to walk between towering walls of water, the sea held back by the very breath of God. Or perhaps we’ll turn to David and ask how it felt to watch a giant fall with nothing but a sling and a stone, the impossible bowing to the name of the Lord.

And I imagine they will smile, their eyes bright with remembrance, eager to tell of the wonders they witnessed. But then, with a quiet reverence, they may lean in and ask us—

“What was it like to have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you? Not beside you, not above you, but inside you? What was it like to wake each morning never truly alone, to carry the presence of God in the depths of your very soul?”

And in that moment, perhaps we will realize what we so often overlook.

We marvel at the miracles of old, longing for signs and wonders, forgetting that we walk daily with the greatest miracle of all. The very Spirit of God, not in a cloud, not in fire, but in us. We are the temple, the dwelling place, and we get to experience “God with us.”

Do not take lightly what saints and prophets longed to see. Do not let the familiar become forgotten.

You carry the presence of God Himself. Treasure it.
