The greater the promises shine

Perhaps the weight we carry is not meant to crush us, but to press us closer to the One who promises rest for our weary souls. Maybe God, in His infinite wisdom, is allowing us to feel this heaviness so that we might be reminded of the relief in him, a peace that surpasses understanding. When the days stretch long and the heart feels drained, it could be that He is showing us our emptiness—not as a punishment, but as a call to turn toward the well that never runs dry. He wants us to understand, deeply, that only He can fill the void within, that His presence alone can quench the thirst of our souls.

Perhaps the sleepless nights, the restless hours filled with anxious thoughts, are not meaningless, but are shaping us to see the beauty of hope that dawns with each new day. For every night of uncertainty, there is a morning where the sun rises, reminding us that His mercies are new, that His faithfulness never falters. Maybe the darkness only makes the light of His promises shine brighter.

And perhaps, in the midst of our struggles, the moments when we feel like we’re drowning under the weight of it all, He is whispering that even now—especially now—He is alive. Alive in our pain, alive in our waiting, alive in the mystery of why things are the way they are. Maybe He allows the brokenness, the questions, the fears, so that we might see more clearly His strength, His grace, His unshakable presence in the midst of it all.

What if, through all the things we wish we could escape, He is calling us to a deeper knowing—a knowing that despite everything we feel, everything we see, He remains sovereign, loving, and present? He is the one who holds us together when we cannot hold ourselves. And in this, we find our hope, the anchor of our soul🤍

Jesus wins

I’ve heard it my whole life. Jesus always wins. It’s stitched into memory like an old Sunday school banner. Echoed in sermons. Sung in songs. But today? Today I don’t feel like I’m on the winning side

I can see him

I used to believe that walking with God meant having some sort of map, if not the full route, at least the next step, the next door, the next green light. But now? I am standing in the fog. Everything
