You’re not everyone’s cup of tea

You’re not everyone’s cup of tea.

Some dislike you,

others may even hate you.

You’ve been misunderstood,

betrayed,

forgotten.

You’ve carried wounds that linger.

You’re too much for some,

not enough for others.

But why, dear soul,

are you striving to be a flavor

that pleases every tongue?

Why bend and break yourself

to fit the fragile preferences

of a world that rejected

perfect, blameless Jesus?

Why dilute the essence of who you are—

crafted by divine hands,

precious and irreplaceable—

to become palatable for those

who will never truly see you?

You are not meant to be everyone’s cup of tea.

You are a masterpiece,

a unique design,

a reflection of heaven’s creativity.

Rest in that truth.

Focus not on those who say,

“You’re not for me.”

But fix your eyes on the One

who calls you beloved,

who knows your every flaw

and delights in you still.

You were made for a purpose,

not to satisfy the world,

but to glorify the One

who gave you breath.

So let the world misunderstand.

Let it turn away.

You are not everyone’s cup of tea—

and that is beautiful,

just as He made you🤍

Jesus wins

I’ve heard it my whole life. Jesus always wins. It’s stitched into memory like an old Sunday school banner. Echoed in sermons. Sung in songs. But today? Today I don’t feel like I’m on the winning side

I can see him

I used to believe that walking with God meant having some sort of map, if not the full route, at least the next step, the next door, the next green light. But now? I am standing in the fog. Everything
